Where's Barbara?

From a Wyoming Democratic Party press release:

[Rep. Barbara] Cubin is one of only four House members who have missed every roll-call vote since Congress went back into session post election, according to a story Thursday in The Hill, a newspaper that covers Congress.

Wyoming Democratic Party Chairman Mike Gierau said "I wonder if this is what she meant when she promised to try to regain voters' confidence in her first day back at work. It looks to me like she broke that promise," Gierau said. "Wyoming's people deserve a representative who will show up and do her job every day, just like the rest of us."

Gierau was referring to an Associated Press story shortly after Cubin's razor-thin election victory in which she said, "When it's this close, you probably did something wrong. ... My first day at work, I will try to regain the confidence of voters who may have voted for me in the past but didn't vote for me this time."

"Rep. Cubin's new status as a minority member of the House means she will have to work even harder to get Wyoming's voice heard in Congress," he said. "Unfortunately, so far it looks like she's taking her job, and the people of Wyoming, for granted."
