The primary elections are over and Americans spoke loudly: The Trump Era Is Over!
Even in Florida, which neglected to boot Randy Fine and Ashley Moody from Congress. Democrats fielded an unexpected Senate candidate in Angie Nixon, bookstore owner and wielder of GOOD TROUBLE in Jacksonville. But more copies from Resistance Books so we can get Angie back on the ballot in 2028. Moody, what can you say? She's no Gator.
That brings us to the governor. Donalds is pathetic. A DeSantis clone. No good will come from his election as Gov.
There were some victories around the state. I'm not a political columnist so I will leave that to other bloggers. I can't stomach a deep dive into the morass. But I do wonder how a state that was so reliably purple just a few years ago has gone to the dogs.
