Obama puts the "E" in Education Act

Great news for college students (and their parents).

Pres. Obama today signed the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act. Here are some of the good things that the "Education" part of the legislation will do:

Eliminate wasteful subsidies to private bankers by switching to a system of direct lending of federal student loans.

Make historic investments in America’s workforce by making college dramatically more affordable – at no cost to taxpayers.

Invest $36 billion over 10 years to increase the maximum annual Pell Grant scholarship to $5,550 in 2010 and to $5,975 by 2017.

$68 billion for college affordability and deficit reduction over the next 11 years. The Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act meets Pay-As-You-Go fiscally responsible principles and will reduce the deficit by at least $10 billion over 10 years.

What does education have to do with heath care?
Government has done such a great job with education in the first place! I mean what other country spends as much money in education and gets so little in return? Wow it seems every few years we get a new education reform! Wow if the government is so smarter than us little serf's then why do they need to fix what they fixed so many times.
Here is the one I like... "Make historic investments in America’s workforce by making college dramatically more affordable – at no cost to taxpayers." Come on you are smart enough to know this smells worse that the stuff falling out of a south end of a north bound bull. Make investments? Where does that money come from? They print it or steal it from us. Or they order colleges to lower cost. Boy that is a nice little warm red Stalin feeling.
So now lets look at how screwed up the education system is by these clowns that know NOTHING about education. And now these clowns know all there is about health care so already they have to fix what is wrong with the health care that they passed? Jokers, clowns and thief's are running this country and whoever thinks the money they are spending is good then you are one of them.
