As promised, here are the details for this year’s Jefferson-Jackson Dinner and Banquet. Sweetwater County will host the event, which will be centered around the theme, "A Salute to Labor."
The dinner is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Rock Springs Holiday Inn (1675 Sunset Drive). Among the featured guests will be Gov. Dave Freudenthal, and our keynote speaker this year is Andrew Romanoff, the Democratic speaker of the Colorado House of Representatives. The Wyoming Democratic Party will also honor Kim Floyd, executive director of the Wyoming AFL-CIO, with the "Party Builder of the Year" Award.
