Wonder what they'll study at Cheney Center?

From a UW press release:

The University of Wyoming Student Health Building is being renovated to create the proposed Cheney International Center. Anne Alexander, International Programs directors, says the renovation plans were expanded with the announcement of the gift from Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife, Lynne, matched by a Wyoming State Legislature appropriation for academic facilities. A portion of the gift established an endowment for study abroad opportunities for UW students, with the remaining funds applied to the international center. International programs, study abroad, faculty/scholar exchanges, international studies, the International Students and Scholars Office and a new resource center will be housed in the facility's west wing. Completion of the building project is scheduled for next March, Harris says.

V.P. Cheney of Casper, Wyoming, knows so much about foreign relations. Maybe the hallways of the new building can be lined with photos of dead Iraqis and dead U.S. G.I.'s from the current fiasco. One of Cheney's brilliant ideas. It's possible that the Cheney donation to UW comes from his ill-gotten gains as Halliburton chief, the company that won all the no-bid contracts for Iraq reconstruction, a project that's been going so well. Our taxpayer dollars at work.

The Cheney International Center. A fine tribute to an international warmonger and the purveyor of a murderous ideology.
