I want to be Mike Gravel!

At our June Central Committee Meeting in Burns, the format for our September 28 meeting was discussed. It will be used to promote the records and views of our Democrat contenders for the 2008 presidential election. Each contender will be researched and represented by a central committee member. At the present time there are eight announced candidates:

Hillary Clinton, U.S. Senator (NY)
Barack Obama, U.S. Senator (IL)
John Edwards, former US Senator (NC)
Chris Dodd, U.S.Senator (CT)
Joe Biden, U.S. Senator (DE)
Bill Richardson, Governor (NM)
Mike Gravel, former U.S. Senator (AK)
Dennis Kuninich, U.S. Representative (OH)

At present, volunteers have chosen Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Biden, and Kucinich. We still need volunteers to represent Chris Dodd, Bill Richardson, and Mike Gravel. If you would like to fill one of these slots, please notify Mike Bell at 773-8626 or 631-2307 for further information, or reply to this email and I will notify Mike so he can get in touch with you with more information. This should be a very enjoyable and informative meeting. and is open to the public.

ALSO, note that there will be no Central Committee Meeting in July, but there will be a meeting on Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Plains Hotel.
