The Weight of a Body

My book of short stories, "The Weight of a Body," features a dozen contemporary stories set mainly in Wyoming and Colorado, but I also have two Florida stories from my misspent youth in Daytona Beach and Gainesville, as well as numerous travels there in my misspent adulthood. One story is set in coastal Maine, based on a short-lived stay in Boston during my early twenties. Finally, there is a lone story, "Mud Woman Gets Busy," set in Salt Lake City. It features Christian Schweigert, a young hotel-manager-in-training from Germany, who is having some difficulty adjusting to America in general and Utah in particular. You can read the first section of the story at my web site under the link "short fiction." Enjoy.
