BLOGGING FOR WRITERS: Although I'm still figuring out this whole blogging thing, I will be discussing the topic at the Colorado Authors League luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Four Points Sheraton, Denver Southeast at Hampden and I-25, Denver. Cost is $16 by check or cash at the door. (No Reservations accepted or cancellations refunded after Sept. 23.)

Presenters will be:
Michael Shay (me), the literary arts specialist for the Wyoming Arts Council in Cheyenne whose workplace blog, wyolitmail, explores the literary scene in Wyoming and the West. He’s the author of a short-story collection, "The Weight of a Body," published in April by Denver’s Ghost Road Press.
Larry Borowsky, author of vivaelbirdos – a blog devoted to the St. Louis Cardinals – is a freelance writer, who has written for the Wall Street Journal Online and other publications. Leslie Petrovski’s knitting-related blog is nakeidknits. She is CAL past president and a freelance writer who writes for Vogue Knitting, Knit 1 and other national and regional magazines.

Together, these three blogging writers promise a lively (and decidedly non-geeky) program for the kickoff meeting of the new CAL year.

For more information, e-mail CAL’s Page Lambert at page@pagelambert.com.
