Meet me in Saint Louie, Louie, meet me under the arch with 99,999 other Obama supporters...

Another large gathering happened that day. As many as 100,000 people took to the streets against the ratification of the "Status of Forces" agreement being pushed upon Iraq by the occupying country. See the picture here:

Demonstrations of this size show, once again, that the Iraqi people do not want us there.

When Obama gets in the White House, we must insist he end the war on Iraq and bring the troops home.

A great point, Nancy. News about Iraq has been crowded out of the headlines. When Obama gets to the White House, we'll have to insist he keeps his promises.

Mike, across the state in Kansas City, we had 65-75,000 enthusiastic supporters turn out to see our next President. Debbie and I were there and could not see much but could hear ok. It was a great crowd, everyone very friendly and very diverse-young, old, black, white..

Nancy, of course, is quite right about the disappearance of Iraq. News on the security pact problems were on the back page of the KC Star, a paper that just endorsed Obama.

And hey, how about the Chicago Tribune endorsing Obama. That was a first.

Bob, glad to hear that you and Deb are holding up your end in K.C. If you add up the 100,000 in St. Louis and the 75,000 in K.C., you have a third of Wyoming's population.
